To support our expansion of technology research in Industrial IoT-related areas, we are looking for a highly motivated and qualified Principal Market Analyst – all genders that will join our growing research team on site in our office in Hamburg or remote.

As part of the job, you will:

  • Lead and execute primary and secondary research for the creation of our market reports with a focus on Industrial IoT / manufacturing / industrial automation
  • Lead, guide, and further develop a team of analysts on a day-to-day basis
  • Quality-check research results and develop junior colleagues so they can improve
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to recognize patterns, draw conclusions and formulate positions on how the technologies or trends will evolve and impact industrial markets over time.
  • Build and maintain relationships with various experts, key clients, and other important industrial IoT stakeholders to understand their perspectives and leverage their expertise
  • Attend and present at various industry conferences

We require:

  • A university degree in either engineering or business/economics (or related)
  • 5 – 10 years of relevant work experience in an analyst/consulting/market research or industrial automation related setting ideally with a focus on IoT/Tech or manufacturing related markets
  • Strong analytical skills and analysis toolkit with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • A strong sense of project ownership
  • Expertise and a deep understanding of drivers/inhibitors in the IoT space and their impact on industry/manufacturing market and technology trends
  • Excellent communication skills, analytics skills, business writing skills, and computer skills (MS Office Suite, especially Powerpoint and Excel)
  • Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and remain calm under pressure
  • A pro-active and self-disciplined team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Sufficient command of the English language (Native speaker, TOEFL ibt score of 110 or higher is preferred)

Participate in consulting/bespoke research projects:

  • Customize the existing market reports to create tailored insights based on a customer’s needs for deep market research expertise
  • Create tailored market models and market forecasts

Continuously develop IoT Analytics’ industry expertise:

  • Attend and collect insights at various industry conferences
  • Autonomously liaise with C-Level Clients from the leading tech & industrial firms all around the world
  • Host and Co-host webinars
  • Have touch points with some of the leading tech & industrial firms all around the world

We require:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an analyst/consulting/market research related setting (ideally with a focus on industrial end-markets)
  • An interest and experience with technology / digital topics (ideally a good understanding of some of the above-mentioned topics – you don’t need to be an expert yet)
  • A university degree in either engineering or business/economics (an MBA is a plus)
  • Motivation and self-discipline to drive projects forward
  • A certain degree of perfectionism / appreciation for detail
  • Sufficient command of the English language (Native speaker, TOEFL ibt score of 110 or higher is preferred)

(Senior) Sales Manager – all genders – Hamburg, Germany|Remote

We are looking for a qualified and highly motivated (Senior) Sales Manager that will join our quickly growing international team in Hamburg on site or remote.

As part of the job, you will:

  • Own end-to-end sales cycle for new sales, from addressing inbound leads and generating outbound leads to closing deals and owning those accounts
  • Primary objective to develop our outbound strategy & roadmap: you will identify our target persona, identify and track key KPIs and close sales through various channels including content sharing, email nurturing, utilization of CRM (Hubspot), automation of outbound reach, etc.
  • Secondary objective to own inbound leads sales cycle and a portfolio of subscription clients

  • Act as a trusted research partner and communicate effectively with mid-management and senior- management clients
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the research team and marketing team to deliver outstanding results for clients and the company
  • Motivated to reach out to potential leads via various communication channels for demo calls and conversion into sales
  • Grow account relationships and turn individual transactions into subscription clients
  • Consistently go above and beyond to deliver both individual and monthly sales team goals
  • Question existing processes and proactively contribute to their optimization

We require:

  • 2-4 years (or 4+ years for senior position) of direct sales experience (B2B, inbound and/or outbound), preferably in a market research/SaaS related setting
  • BA/BS required; MBA preferred

  • An outgoing, and driven individual with the ability to put yourself in your customers’ shoes

Your tasks:

  • Support of our team of analysts in doing market research on various industrial IoT-related topics (e.g., Predictive Maintenance, Machine Vision, Edge computing, Industrial connectivity)
  • Perform secondary research (data gathering, desktop research) on specific/assigned work packages

Your profile:
