About the database

The database is suited for

  • AI strategy/business case development
  • Sector scan
  • Customer/vendor selection
  • Competitive analysis
  • Go-to-market/market entry strategy
  • Autonomy and agentic-architecture benchmarking

Who the database is for

AI, cloud, and software vendors

See where generative AI and AI agents are creating value by industry, department, and activity, which customers competitors reference publicly, and where agentic deployments are still rare. Use it to sharpen ideal customer profiles, build target account lists, and position your offering against named competitor references.

Consultants and system integrators

Benchmark clients against 1,533 documented deployments, build use-case shortlists by industry and function, and support business cases with public, vendor-published references that can be traced back to the source.

Investors

Track where enterprise adoption of generative and agentic AI is concentrating by vendor, region, industry, and year, and how far deployments have progressed from output-only assistants toward autonomous execution.

What’s new in the 2026 edition

  • Nearly 3x the coverage: 1,533 projects, up from 530 in the 2025 edition
  • Agentic AI in scope: the list now covers both generative AI and agentic AI case studies
  • Level of autonomy: every project is rated on a 0–3 tier, from output-only assistance to self-directed autonomous operation
  • Level of agentic: every project is classified as a non-agentic chatbot/assistant, a single-agent system, or a multi-agent system
  • Evidence-based classification rules: the Taxonomy tab documents inclusion and tie-breaker rules for every autonomy tier and agentic level, so no project is labeled agentic based on vendor branding alone

The list is a structured repository of 1,533 generative AI and agentic AI projects

Every entry is based on public information published on a vendor’s own website, such as a customer case study or partner success story. A project is included only if it focuses on the use of generative or agentic AI and enough information is publicly available to classify it. The database was last updated in September 2026.

Year Year that the project was implemented or published
Level of autonomy (new) Execution-autonomy tier showing how much of the work the system performs without a human directing each step: Tier 0 (output-only assistance), Tier 1 (human-directed tool or workflow execution), Tier 2 (bounded autonomous execution), or Tier 3 (self-directed autonomous operation)
Level of agentic (new) Agentic architecture of the system: Level 0 (non-agentic chatbot/assistant), Level 1 (single-agent), or Level 2 (multi-agent)
